After months of training, hard work, team bonding, and countless hours of rehearsals, the 2018 FHS Marching Band and Color Guard presented their Fall production "Singularity." Featuring our Wind Players, Drumline, Front Ensemble, and the Color Guard, our show presented to our audiences a sequence of movements that come together to create a unique individual event. We invited our viewers to create their own takeaway as to what that event was, and their responses ranged from The Big Bang and Black Holes to Nuclear Fusion and Reflecting on Life.
Lending a clue to the show's theme were our props: four large triangular prisms with their own colors and shapes. These props came together on a large digital tarp that pulled the field, yardlines and all, and our audience into the center of the field.
The FHS Guard would like to think Autumn Pappan of Black and Pink Designs, Alan Muggenborg and Mike MacKeage of Flash Visual Media, and Jeff Hurr for their work on our fall costumes, flags, and props. We also want to thank our amazing Guard Parents and the FHS "Prop Dawgs" for their constant support, prop work, hair and make-up assistance, and costume management. We couldn't do it without you!
